Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others help us improve your experience.

How we use cookies

Revorra uses cookies grouped into four categories. You can manage your preferences at any time.

1. Strictly Necessary

These cookies are required for core functionality — authentication, security, and session management. They cannot be disabled.

  • revorra_session— Set when you sign in and removed when you sign out. It keeps you recognised as a signed-in member so the site can route you to member pages and serve member photos, including when the platform runs in members-only mode. Lifetime: 24 hours, or 7 days with “Remember me”. HttpOnly — not readable by scripts.
  • cookie_consent — Your consent preferences (12 months)

2. Functional

These cookies enable personalisation such as theme preference, language, and UI state.

  • theme_preference — Light/dark mode (12 months)
  • language_preference — UI language (12 months)
  • sidebar_state — Sidebar open/closed (7 days)
  • map_preferences — Map defaults (6 months)

3. Analytics

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the platform. Data is aggregated and anonymous.

  • _revorra_analytics — Internal analytics session (30 days)
  • mh_session_id — Session correlation (session)

4. Marketing

These cookies may be used for advertising measurement and sponsored content tracking. We do not sell your data to third parties.

  • Promotion tracking pixels
  • Ad campaign measurement

Managing your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the button below, or via the “Manage Cookies” link in the site footer.

Third-party cookies

We may use third-party services (e.g. analytics tools, map providers) that set their own cookies. These are governed by the respective third-party privacy policies. Third-party scripts are only loaded after you provide consent for the relevant category.

Your rights

Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, you have the right to:

  • Accept or reject non-essential cookies
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Request deletion of data collected via cookies
  • Access information about what data we hold

For data subject requests, contact us at [email protected].

Updates to this policy

When we make material changes to this Cookie Policy, we will update the version number and re-prompt you for consent. You can also review our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
